We are back to show your short films on the big screen! We have been growing fast and have earned the trust of cinemas, and we are excited to keep growing with you.

We will show your films on our big screen. Where public can score your film. Not only public we have special jury board who also score your film. We will publish Top 50 films in our magazine. Also we will take interview with Directors and whole filmmaking team. Finally Top 3 Seednie Golden award will goes to Best persons who made that incredible moments.

Rules & Terms

✅ Films need to be 30 minutes or less. The average film we feature is around 10 minutes.

✅ We are also accept AI/VFX/CGI Films.

✅ We require films to have all necessary rights and releases secured for us to feature them. Yes, this includes music.

✅ We like premieres but no premiere status is required.

✅ The competition is international and is open to all authors over 18 years of age.

✅ Each entrant may submit as many works as he/she wishes.

✅ We take submissions from any year. It doesn't matter if you completed the film last year, 10 years ago, or even 50 years ago.

✅ Films must be subtitled in English if language is other than English.

✅ The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged.

✅ Seednie Film Festival does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained.

✅ The delivery of certificates/trophy/award actual postal charges are applicable. which may have to be paid by filmmakers.

✅ Once the film submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances.

✅ Remember, some festivals have their own participation fees. Many festivals are free, but others are not. Use our browser prior to making your choice and that way you won´t have any surprises.

✅By submitting movie to Seednie Film Festival, filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.

F.A.Q.

💥Can I submit a Non-English spoken films?

Absolutely! However, your film must include English subtitles.

💥Do you take submissions from films finished years ago?

Yes. We have no restrictions on a film's release date.

💥Where should I host my film for the submission?

We prefer films be uploaded to YouTube. be sure you keep your film private by setting it to unlisted on YouTube.

💥Can I resubmit my film if I was previously declined?

We do allow for resubmissions but only if the film has undergone significant changes from the original submission. Films are rarely declined for one or two fixable reasons, so this is a higher bar to clear than it might seem. Only consider this if you’ve significantly reworked your film.

💥I was declined. Did I make a bad film?

Having your film declined doesn’t mean it’s a bad film.

💥Refund Policy:

We cannot refund a submission fee once a film has been submitted. As with nearly all film festivals, the submission fee is paid for your film to be considered. It in no way guarantees that your film will be accepted by Seednie Film Festival. This isn't pay to play. If your film is not accepted, your submission fee is not refunded. We receive thousands of submissions every year and are only able to select 65%.
